Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a post to a different language by uploading an XLIFF file, using the Classic Translation Editor instead of the Advanced Translation Editor. I need to work with XLIFF files, so I can't use the ATE. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translated page is not available in the frontend unless its URL is different from the original. I faced this behavior before with the ATE, reported it, and it was solved, but the fix doesn't cover the CTE.

I'd be happy to provide you with the related ticket, but can't since I can't seem to access my closed tickets.

Screencast: hidden link

Questions:
Why is the translated post not available unless its URL is different from the original?
How can I resolve the issue with the Classic Translation Editor?

OK, nailed it. It's basically cache related. After translating a page, I need to clear W3TC's caches to get it available.
Otherwise, I'll keep being redirected to the original page when trying to reach the translated page.
