Hello,

I am using WPML along with the WPML LearnPress add-on on my website droneacademie.ca.

I contacted LearnPress support because some quiz-related strings are not translatable, such as:
“Minus points”
“Are you sure to submit the quiz?”
“Cancel”
“Are you sure you want to retake the quiz?”

They advised me to:
Go to WPML → Settings → Multilingual Content Setup and enable Detect strings in JavaScript files
Go to WPML → Theme and Plugin Localization and scan the LearnPress plugin
Use WPML → String Translation to translate the strings

However, I cannot find:
- The String Translation section
- The Detect strings in JavaScript files option

Could you please tell me how to translate LearnPress JavaScript-based quiz strings with WPML?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,
Simon

Hello,

It seems our plugin "WPML String Translation" is not activated on your site, which is why you can not find the mentioned settings and the area WPML > String Translation.

Please go to Plugins > Add plugin and click on the "Commercial" tab.

Now click "Check for updates".

After that, make sure that the latest versions of our plugins are installed and install all recommended plugins (incl. WPML String Translation).

After that, you should be able to enable the translation for JavaScript Strings inside WPML's settings and adjust translations for strings coming from WordPress, Theme, and Plugins at WPML > String Translation.

Please also take note that we have the following known issue about LearnPress Quizzes, about which we informed the author of the plugin already:
https://wpml.org/errata/learnpress-quiz-answers-not-translatable-via-wpml/

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas
