Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and encountering an issue with WPML. I am getting the following error every now and then: KILLED QUERY (19998 characters long generated in /nas/content/live/affiliaprod/wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/classes/db-mappers/class-wpml-st-bulk-update-strings-status.php:164): SELECT DISTINCT s.id FROM wp_icl_strings AS snttt WHERE EXISTS(SELECT DISTINCT st.string_idnttttFROM wp_icl_string_translations AS stnttttWHERE st.string_id = s.idntttttAND st.language != s.language) AND s.id NOT IN('1','39','4024','4070','4071','4463','4464','8773','8774','8775','8776','8777','8778','8779','8780','8781','8782','8783','8784','8785','8786','8787','8788','8789','8790','8791','8792','8793','8794','8795','8796','8797','8798','8799','8800','8801','8802','8803','8804','8805','8806','8807','8808','8809','8810','8811','8812','8813'.....
Symptoms:
This error is causing a 502 page bringing the website down.
Questions:
How can I resolve the KILLED QUERY error in WPML?
What steps can I take to prevent the 502 error caused by this query?
Could you please register a sitekey here hidden link so that I can update the WPML plugins? Then, I will recheck and see if we can do anything on our end to fix this.
Thank you,
My account is already renewed since yesterday. Upon going to hidden link it tells me "Great! You just need to extend your subscription." but my account is already renewed. Please note that this is a staging website copy of the production.
I've updated the WPML plugins and could you please retry now? I've made some edits to the page title here hidden link and retranslating it works fine now.

I regret any inconvenience caused, but to proceed with troubleshooting, I kindly ask for a snapshot of the site. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.
To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:
1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link
3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.
Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.
Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the file link there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
