This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client updated a string from English to Chinese, but it did not appear on the frontend; instead, the text reverted to English.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Navigate to WPML -> String Translation.
2. Open the "Not seeing strings that you are looking for?" tab.
3. Click on "Admin Texts Translation".
4. Search for the needed strings.
5. Select the strings.
6. Click on the "Add to String Translation" button.
7. Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link.
8. Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the frontend.
