This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the Easy Accordion plugin does not display translations on the English version of their website. The accordion remains in the original language (Italian), despite adding translations.
Solution:
We have identified that the Easy Accordion plugin is not officially compatible with WPML. However, the plugin's author provides a workaround. We recommend following the steps outlined in their documentation to translate the accordion. You will need to replace the shortcode on the translated pages with the shortcode's translated version. Please see the documentation here: https://docs.shapedplugin.com/docs/easy-accordion-pro/faqs/how-do-i-translate-my-accordion-with-wpml/. If you encounter any issues, please contact the plugin's author for further assistance.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Hello,

I removed the credentials. The forum is public, so I suggest you change them. If we need to access the site, we will provide a secure form for that purpose.

This plugin is not in our compatibility list; however, it doesn't necessarily imply that it is not compatible, just that our team has not tested it yet.

Instead of logging into your site, I think it's better to reproduce the problem from scratch in a testing environment.

I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:

Kindly follow the steps below:

- Don't restore your site there.
- Install the easy accordion plugin
- Try to replicate the issue with minimal steps.
- Then let me know the steps to see the problemand reproduce it.

Best Regards,
Otto

Hey there,

Otto is off for the next few days, so I'm handling this ticket.

I made some research, and found that this plugin is not compatible with WPML - at least we haven't verified it from our side, since we can't test it on testing websites. Nonetheless the plugin author has a documenation with a workaround:

Please follow the steps, and replace the shortcode on the translated pages, with the shortcode's translated version. Note that this is not an official solution from WPML, but a suggestion from the plugin authors, that did not make this plugin WPML compatible. Please reach out to the plugin's author, might you have any issues and keep me updated.
