Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit the automated translation of an article on Ate for my site hidden link. I want my changes to be reflected on the frontend.

Symptoms:
When I click on 'Finish' after editing the automated translation, my corrections are not being saved and do not apply to the frontend.

Questions:
Why are my changes to the automated translation not being saved?
How can I ensure that my edits are applied to the frontend?

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you on this issue.

Once you complete the translations, can you make sure the translations is showing the pencil icon which indicates the translations is complete on the page editor? Sometimes it takes few minutes to receive the translations.

Further, can you clear the cache if it's enabled from your site and see if the problem exists.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello,
I cleared the cache, but it didn’t change anything, so I decided to try the new version of ATE, and it worked. Now, I don’t understand why the old version no longer works or is buggy, as it was working perfectly less than a week ago.
I’m struggling with the new version and would prefer to continue using the old version of ATE. If you have any idea why this issue is happening, I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hello there,

Can you switch back to old version now and see if it shows the same error?

If yes, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Hello, I followed your advice, but it’s not working; only the new version is working. I will wait a bit and reach out to you again if I continue to have this issue. Thank you for your help.
