This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where segments become untranslated after saving them in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), even though you've translated every segment and saved the translation, this might be similar to the issue we recently addressed.
Solution:
We recommend checking if any translations are flagged for "save later". This can sometimes occur without immediate notice. If you find such flags, you should complete these translations and save again. If the problem persists, translating additional pages might help identify if the issue is recurring or isolated.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue continues, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Ok thank you - in the meantime, can i continue updating content in the primary language (without performing translations)?

Also, the other issue of the segments becoming untranslated?

If you recall i noticed all 3 issues at the same time.

When I translate a page in the ATE, and save it - (considering 100% of segments are translated and must be translated in order to save) - if I then revisit the translation in the ATE there are segments that are no longer in translated, and the segment field on the translated side is in English with an orange bar next to it.

The screenshot attached is the same from as the other day - and it is for this page:
hidden link

I only noticed it because I went back to look for the Primary category Field

Thanks for your reply. I've checked your translation, and I can see that some translations are flagged for "save later". This is what I've done hidden link to complete the translation. Then, I've rechecked and all seems fine now. Could you recheck?

Hi Kor

Yes it is fine now and remains translated.

I guess my issue is that i did translate the entire page - absolutely every segment - and then saved the translation in the ATE.

When I returned to the Page (to check if the Primary Category Field was present or not) those segments you translated in the video were then back in English.

I did not flag them for save later...(if that is even possible??) but i am 100% sure i translated them, ticked the green box for the segment and then eventually saved the translation...

I will try translating a few more pages and see if it continues to happen and let you know.

Thanks for your reply. Alright then, just share the Advanced Translation Editor URL here if you want me to recheck the translation jobs.
