Background of the issue:
I'm trying to set up WPML on my site hidden link. I have about 35000 credits assigned to this site. I cloned my live site to a developing site a few days ago and was able to set up WPML without any issues. The live site is identical to the dev site.
Symptoms:
1. I'm prompted to re-assign credits despite having 35000 credits. 2. My PHP settings show a memory limit of 512Mb, but WPML/Support tab says it's 40M. 3. The number of autoloads grew exponentially after installing and activating WPML and associated plugins.
Questions:
Why am I prompted to re-assign credits despite having 35000 credits?
Why does WPML/Support tab show a memory limit of 40M when my PHP settings indicate 512Mb?
Why did the number of autoloads grow exponentially after installing WPML and associated plugins?
Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned.
Please increase the WordPress Memory Limit as described in the following documentation. It will help to resolve the Memory Limit warning in WPML>>Support.
Have you assigned the Prepaid credits to hidden link? If so, please try the steps suggested in the following ticket after a full site backup and check if there is any difference.
However, I still wonder how come the number of my autoloads sky-rocketed after installing and activating WPML. Any idea? Or is there anything I can do to make the number smaller?
Cheers,
