Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my page conveniently using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Instead of a placeholder, the translation bracket includes the original text that needs to be manually deleted every time before entering the translation. I expected a smooth translation process, but it was not so smooth.

Questions:
Why does the translation bracket include the original text instead of a placeholder?
How can I achieve a smoother translation process?

Hello,

As you can see on the following test site, this is usually not the case.

This might only be the case if the content was translated earlier and there are segments already saved inside the translation memory of the Advanced Translation Editor.
