Background of the issue:
I was trying to unregister and re-register WPML to resolve a connection issue. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I encountered a connection error with WPML: 'Connection error: Unable to get data from service. Detailed error: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: api.wpml.org; Unknown error'. I expected to see the submission into the PD, but instead, nothing was submitted.

Questions:
How can I resolve the connection error with WPML?
Why is the submission not being processed as expected?

Hi there,

Please go to WPML->Support->Communication Log and share with me the log from that screen.

Also, go back to WPML->Support->Troubleshooting and run Refresh Translation Services, edit the page in question -> make a small change and update, then try sending the job again and let me know your results, please.

Hello again,

I've spoken with our Translation Services team about this and they did confirm an active issue with the TransPerfect service.

This issue is coming from TransPerfect we are currently in contact with them and we also ask you if possible to contract their team as it would expedite resolution.

WPML has fixed the issue by changed Ruby code.
