Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a post using the advanced editor, but the Yoast meta title field isn't translating properly. Strings and variables positions are changed, so for example, the separator is moved to the beginning. This issue seems to happen only when translating from French to Italian/Spanish. Here is a screenshot of the issue: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The Yoast meta title field isn't translated properly, with strings and variables positions changed, specifically the separator moving to the beginning.

Questions:
Is there a way to fix the translation issue with the Yoast meta title field?

Thanks for contacting us.

Based on the screenshot that you've provided, have you tried clicking on the Italian translation and making the changes manually?

Indeed, I can make the changes manually.

However, due to the high volume of posts this would prove being a bit time-consuming.

What other option do we have, beside not using variables in the Yoast SEO fields, to ensure they are translated properly?

Thanks for your reply.

I don't think we have a choice here. The variables from Yoast SEO are required to make it work. You'll need to correct this manually from your end.
