Background of the issue:
I'm using the Avada Theme and the Button item. The button has text on the front and another text for Hover. The Hover-text is not translated in English with WPML. The original hover text in German is not even listed by WPLM in Advanced Translation Management, so it is probably not recognised at all. When I did the English translation with the Avada live builder directly on the translated site, it worked. But when I edited the translation again with the WPML mode, the translation is overwritten again with the German text. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
The hover text on the button is not translated into English. The original hover text in German is not even listed by WPLM in Advanced Translation Management. When translated with Avada Life Builder it reverts to the original German text after editing again with WPML.
Questions:
Why is the hover text not listed in the wpml translation manager?
How can I ensure the hover text remains translated in English?
Thanks for your patience. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Thanks for your reply. I reviewed the English Translation as shown in the attached screenshot and the homepage is still working displaying fine in English. hidden link
Could you list the steps to replicate the issue or perhaps you can record a short screen recording using this free tool? hidden link
