This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with the Elementor editor displaying in Arabic when editing Arabic pages with WPML, despite implementing all recommended solutions, including deleting translation files, changing user profile language settings, clearing caches, installing specific plugins, and verifying WPML settings, and the issue persists with mixed widget languages and RTL layout issues.
Solution:
We recommend deactivating the 'Download Monitor' plugin to resolve this issue. After deactivating, please check if Elementor works as expected in maintaining the English interface while editing Arabic pages.

Hello WPML Support Team,

I'm experiencing a persistent issue with Elementor editor displaying in Arabic when editing Arabic pages with WPML, despite implementing ALL recommended solutions from your documentation and community forums.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
When editing Arabic pages with Elementor, the editor interface appears in Arabic instead of English. Additionally:
- Some widgets display in Arabic while others remain in English (mixed language)
- Elements are appearing right-to-left in the editor panel
- The interface direction (RTL) is affecting usability

SOLUTIONS ALREADY ATTEMPTED:

1. ✅ Deleted Arabic translation files (.mo and .po files) from /wp-content/languages/plugins/:
- elementor-ar.mo
- elementor-ar.po
- elementor-pro-ar.mo
- elementor-pro-ar.po

2. ✅ Changed User Profile language settings:
- Set Admin Language to "English (United States)"
- Updated translations via Dashboard → Updates

3. ✅ Cleared all caches:
- WordPress cache
- Elementor cache (Regenerate Files & Data)
- Browser cache
- Hosting cache

4. ✅ Installed and activated "Disable Elementor Editor Translation" plugin from WordPress repository

5. ✅ Verified WPML settings:
- Checked Admin Language configuration
- Ensured proper default language settings

6. ✅ Restored website from clean backup and retested

CURRENT SETUP:
- Site Default Language: Arabic
- Hosting: Hostinger
- All plugins and WordPress updated to latest versions

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Elementor editor interface should remain in English regardless of the page language being edited.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
Elementor editor displays in Arabic with mixed widget languages and RTL layout issues.

The issue persists after all recommended solutions. I need advanced troubleshooting steps or confirmation if this is a compatibility issue with current versions.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please back up your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes, and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I checked the issue, and it was fixed by deactivating the "Download Monitor" plugin. Please check if Elementor works as expected.

Best regards,
Osama
