Problem:
After updating WPML plugins, the client noticed that the language filter was missing, and all content was displayed without being filtered by language (DE, NL, FR, etc.). The WPML Flag filter, which should appear in the top right, was not visible, and there was a bug with the filter flag images.
Solution:
We reviewed the client's site and initially did not observe the reported issue as the language switcher was present. However, upon further investigation, it was discovered that a conflict with an Advanced Ads plugin was causing the issue with the WPML Flag filter. We recommend checking for any plugin updates or conflicts if you're experiencing similar issues. Additionally, disabling the conflicting plugin temporarily or seeking an update from the plugin provider might resolve the issue.

Background of the issue:
I updated some of our WPML plugins yesterday for the site and noticed a bug. Instead of having the content filtered by language (DE, NL, FR, etc.), there is no filter, and all of the content is being featured. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see the WPML Flag filter in the top right, but instead, I got no filter. There is a bug on the filter flag images.

Questions:
Why is the WPML Flag filter not appearing after the plugin update?

I have looked at your website, and I do not see the issue you mentioned. The language switcher is present. Could you clarify what I might be missing?

We got it fixed! It appears a plugin for Advanced Ads was causing a bug with the flag filter.
