Hello, I translated the global header in the Divi theme, but after the Code Module was translated, some issues appeared. Where can I edit the translated global header?
The issue is that the <style> and <script> tags disappeared, which caused all the CSS and JavaScript code inside them to be displayed directly on the page.
If you saved the template and translated it correctly, you should be able to edit it from the Divi Library.
In the Divi Library there should be both the default header template and the translated one. You can open the translated header there and edit it directly.
Please note that if the template was translated via the WPM Editor, it is not advised to manually edit the translated template afterwards, because manual changes may be lost if the translation is updated again through the editor.
Regarding the Code Module, it is generally not recommended to place full complex CSS or JavaScript there. The Code Module is mostly intended for simple HTML. Custom code should be added via Divi Theme Options, functions.php, or external scripts.
If you are experiencing specific issues with the translation, please let us know and we can advise further.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
I checked the Divi Library, but there is no translated template there. In fact, the default header template is also not saved in the Divi Library.
The header was created in Divi Theme Builder as a global header template, not as a Divi Library item, so I cannot edit the translated version from the Divi Library.
Could you please confirm how the translated global header should be edited in this case?
Since the header was created as a Global Header in the Divi Theme Builder and not saved in the Divi Library, it will not appear in the library by default.
What you can do is the following:
While editing the default global header in the Divi Builder, click the cog icon (settings) for template and add a name for the template. Then save it and translate it.
After translating it, the default and translated version should appear in the Divi Library, where you will be able to edit it normally.
If you still experience issues after doing this, please let me know. You can also provide admin access, make sure to have a backup of the site, and I can take a closer look.
Regards,
Drazen
