This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate a scheduled post in WordPress using WPML and want the translation to be published automatically when the original scheduled post goes live.
Solution:
We ensure that translated posts are automatically published as soon as the original post is published. Here's how to do it:
1. Create a scheduled post in the default language.
2. Translate the post using WPML.
3. When the scheduled post is published, the translated versions are automatically published as well—no additional configuration is needed.
However, please be aware of a known issue that might affect this process under specific circumstances. You can read more about it here.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket here.

Symptoms:

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

WPML ensures that translated posts are automatically published as soon as the original post is published.

Here’s how it works:
1. You create a scheduled post in the default language.
2. You translate the post using WPML.
3. When the scheduled post is published, the translated versions are automatically published as well—no additional configuration is needed.

However, please note that there is a known issue that can affect this process under specific circumstances. You can read more about it here:

The last time I tried, the translation went live before the original post. And since I stopped doing it, it isn't practical at all.

I read your article but I am not sure to understand exactly what to do if that happens?

Before my previous reply, I tested this on my local environment and everything worked as expected.

Here’s what I did:
1. Created a new post with a scheduled publication time set for 5 minutes in the future.
2. Sent the post for automatic translation and set it to publish without review (naturally, the post wasn’t published right away).
3. After 5 minutes, once the scheduled time arrived, both the original and translated versions were published automatically.

I recommend running the same test on your environment to verify whether the issue still occurs. Let me know the results.
