This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Our wait time is higher than usual, please make sure you are meeting the minimum requirement - https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements before you report issues, and if you can take a look at current Known Issues - https://wpml.org/known-issues/. Thank you.
Background of the issue:
I am trying to synchronize Duplicated terms (select attribute) in troubleshooting for my WordPress site using WPML. The site I need help with is hidden link.
Symptoms:
In attribute settings, I have products assigned to specific attributes only in one language, and in the rest, I have 0, while everything on the front end works correctly.
Questions:
Is it normal that after synchronizing Duplicated terms, products are assigned to specific attributes only in one language?
Thank you for contacting WPML support.
While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps or if I can help with the issue quickly.
Try the following:
1. Synchronize Attributes and Update Product Variations:
• Within the same Attributes tab, after selecting an attribute, scroll down and click on the “Synchronize attributes and update product variations” button.
• Repeat this process for each attribute assigned to your products.
This approach ensures that attributes and their associated variations are correctly synchronized across all languages.
2. Verify Unique Slugs for Translated Attributes
Ensure that each translated attribute/category has a unique slug to prevent conflicts.
Best Regards,
Otto
