Background of the issue:
I have a staging server and a production server set up on WordPress.com. I am trying to understand the impact of pushing changes from the staging server to the production server on the WPML license information.

Symptoms:
WPML detected a new address for this site message in the admin page.

Questions:
When I push changes from staging to prod, will the license info from the staging server overwrite the license on the production server?
Will pushing changes cause a 'WPML detected a new address for this site' message in the admin page?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.

1) It depends on what and how you push changes. The licence key is saved in wpml key in the wp_options table.

2) Yes, it will most likely cause a banner to appear, and you will need to follow it for automatic translation to work fine.

Regards,
Drazen
