Links are pointing to wrong language

timK-2	Hi there I opened a ticket some time ago but oversaw your reply, and now the ticket is closed. https://wpml.org/forums/topic/links-are-pointing-to-wrong-language/ I still have the same problem. Links of all translations work perfectly. Only links of the original article (in german) point to the wrong language version. I can't edit and re-translate articles as all translations are edited manually, and changes would get lost. Please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you Tim

I've reviewed your earlier ticket and found that your access is still active. Upon examining your German page here hidden link , I'm unable to identify any broken links. Could you please specify which links you're referring to? Upon inspection, all the links seem to be directing to the appropriate German language content.

So, all the links on the page will have to be manually corrected. May I know why you changed the primary language of the page initially?

timK-2	Hi I never changed the primary language! It always was English! But most articles we write in German and then translate. Tim

I have reviewed the page at hidden link, and it looks like the links have been corrected. To clarify, if you initially write in German, that page will be set to German as its primary language, even if English is selected as the primary language in WPML > Language > Site Languages. You can then translate the content from German to your other secondary languages. Are you still experiencing issues with your other pages, or do you need further clarification?
