This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the language switcher appears twice in the menu of their website: once as the first item and again as the last item, but broken. They want the language switcher to appear only once as the last item.
Solution:
We recommend clearing your browser cache as a first step, as this might resolve the issue of seeing the language switcher incorrectly. To do this, you can follow the steps provided in this documentation: WPML Language Switcher Options. If after clearing the cache the issue persists, it might be due to a configuration or a visibility issue that is not replicable on our end. In such a case, we suggest checking your menu settings in the WPML "Languages" section to ensure the switcher is set up correctly to appear only at the desired location in the menu.

If this solution does not apply or is outdated, or if you continue to face issues, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi,

I would need to see your settings if you have 2 language switchers activated or if 1 is part of your theme. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Hi,

Thank you for the access.

The language switcher on the right is the one configured in the WPML "Languages" section for the menu. However, I can't see any language switcher on the left side of the Frontend. If you can see one, please try clearing your browser cache. I also tested it using an incognito browser window, and there was nothing visible on the left.

Additionally, your screenshot shows "Home" as the first entry, which is not currently the first entry on the Frontend. It appears you are not seeing the same view as I am.

Best regards,
Marcel
