Background of the issue:
I am building a multilingual WooCommerce store using Elementor and WPML with separate domains per language. My Romanian default Products (Shop) page uses the slug 'produs', but the Product Base URL is incorrectly showing as 'produs' across all languages. I manually translated the Product Base slugs under WooCommerce Multilingual > Store URLs, but live links still show /produs/ instead of the correct translation. I also recreated a Shop page but Elementor does not allow me to edit the Romanian Products page ('Produse') normally. Products appear on the Romanian site, but on other domains, no products are showing under the Shop page.

Symptoms:
Product Base URL is incorrectly showing as 'produs' across all languages instead of the correct translation. Elementor does not allow editing of the Romanian Products page. Products are not showing on other language domains.

Questions:
How can I ensure the Product Base slug is correctly translated and displayed across all languages?
Why is Elementor not allowing me to edit the Romanian Products page?
How can I make products appear on the Shop page for other language domains?

Hello,

One of the person I found from upwork.com found that when we deactivate WPML string then the problem is resolved. So problem is this.

Somebody from upwork started earlier and solved the issue for now with adding jet engine query builder. I dont know what it means but it worked. I dont know I guess WPML team is still working on it. So you need to know this detail.

It sounds like you were able to resolve the issue, correct?

If yes, please verify that the WPML String Translation plugin is activated as you would not want that add-on plugin deactivated.

Also, if the issue is resolved now, we can close the ticket and if further assistance from our team or the issue returns we can review this again.

Hello

We used another plugin the solve the issue of WPML String. I would like WPML team to understand what is the problem with WPML string and to solve it o to be depend on another plugin.

It takes too much time to reach WPML support and I am trying to find support from website like fiverr or upwork. So we dont close the ticket and we find the root of the problem to solve. I would like WPML technical team to find out what is the problem.

1) Please share steps on how can I see the issue? I tried the steps my colleagues left, but it seems to work fine and all products show for me.

2) If possible, please share the staging site, so we can safely check and debug the issue there and not on live website.

Hello,
2 weeks ago, i talked with chat, Somebody tried and after I forwarded case to another person. They uploaded WPFile manager etc, tried something but nothing came as feedback.
You have all credentials. With jet engine, I try to make it work but When I add product, again same problem exist.
Can you please help, it has been 2 weeks.

I do not see any other open related ticket, so we would need to continue with this and follow my reply so I can better understand the issue and help out further.

As said in my last reply:

1) Please share step by step guide on how can I see the issue.

2) Please create a staging site (you can use WP staging) and share with me admin and FTP access so I can safely check the issue.

If you go to shop pages in the different languages, you will see that products are disapearing. Only when I deactivate WPML string plugin than the issue is resolved. We can see only in English and French version the products.

WPMl told they will come back with email but nothing came, in this time i tried with upwork some developers. They found temporary solutions. But still same problem exist.

I created staging site

Do you want me to share from here credetials or if you have email, I can add you as user.

1) Please share admin access and FTP to the staging site so I can check and debug issue further.

2) Please explain, what do you mean by product disappearing? Please share some exact examples. You can share video to explain it better.

Since I am checking EN shop page and I can see all of the products.

thanks, but I need admin access details so I can access the different domains' admin dashboard and check settings and translation.

I can now login only to .com from your hosting account.
