This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to translate content on your site using WPML and received an error message stating: 'Someone is already reviewing this translation. Please try again later.' despite not reviewing the translation yourself.
Solution:
This error typically occurs when translations are assigned to someone else in WPML. First, check if you are the only user on the site set as a translator under WPML → Translation Management → Translators. If not, you can try resending the job from WPML > Translation Management. Go to the dashboard, select the job you want to review, and send it for translation again. This process should remove the "old" user set as a reviewer and enable you to translate the page this time.
If the issue persists, consider canceling the translation jobs by navigating to WPML → Translation Management → Translators → Jobs. If you're still experiencing problems, please upload screenshots to illustrate the issue.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket for further assistance.
