[Resolved] Translatable content that doesn't exist on actual page
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: Client was trying to finish translating an English page into French but encounter unexpected French text in the on the English side, in Advanced Translation Editor. Despite clearing caches and updating translations, the issue persisted.
Solution: We discovered that the problem was due to a conflicting database entry where an image had incorrect alt-text assigned in the default language. Here's how we resolved it: 1. Identified the problematic image in the database and removed the incorrect meta entry. 2. Accessed WPML -> Media Translation and correctly translated the image's "Alt text" ensuring both languages had the appropriate text. 3. Made a minor edit to the page content, saved, and updated the translation to reflect these changes in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE).

Background of the issue:
I am trying to finish translating an English page into French. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
I've gone through the following steps, but to no avail:
1. Navigate to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting and click on the buttons to clear the WPML cache, remove ghost entries from translation tables, fix element_type collation, synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs, synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE, assign translation status to duplicated content, set language information, and fix post-type assignment for translations.
2. Open the default page in the WordPress editor, make a small change in the page title, save the changes, and update the translation.
Symptoms:
I expected to see only translatable content that actually exists on the page. Instead, I got 'Ajouter séquences vidéo à votre système d’alarme résidentiel à votre chalet dans les Laurentides ou Lanaudière' in the original English side (left side).
Questions:
Why is there translatable content that doesn't exist on the actual page?
How can I ensure only the existing content is translatable?
At another instance, upon changing the image texts within WordPress Media Library from within Elementor, the changes do NOT appear in WPML. I have spent ALL day trying to resolve it, with some help from the hosting company and Elementor. Nothing we have tried makes any difference. Elementor suggested using a different multi-language plugin.
Yes, I have tried to clear all caches, server-sided, browser, and WPML cache clear. IO do not use any WordPress cache under staging.
Upon trying to translate the Yoast Related Keyphrases, I lose all my image titles and description within the advanced translation page. Bugs keep creeping up all the time.

For the other question/issue, I recommend opening a separate ticket/chat because as per forum policy we can only handle one issue per ticket/chat. So you can get more to the point help, without mixing up several issues in one long ticket.
I was able to find and fix the problem. Looks like that previously an image (hidden link) was having that French text as an alt-text for the default English language.
While default language image's alt-text in Media library was also fine. So apparently there was a conflicting bad DB entry.
I found that image in the DB and removed that meta entry (see db.jpg).
And then from WPML -> Media Translation, translated the image's "Alt text" meta field again. While making sure that both sides have correct language texts (see img.jpg). Thus, switching text places to their correct languages.
After that, I made a little change in the page's content, saved and updated the translation. Now in ATE, the said text should be in the correct place (i.e. on French side).
