This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported a bug in the Spanish version of their website where an incorrect code/text appeared in the translation of the cookie law, which did not occur in the Danish (main language) or English versions.
Solution:
After gaining access, we discovered that the shortcode code, which should not be translated, was incorrectly translated. We corrected the shortcode code for the Spanish translation, and the issue was resolved. We advised the client to check the updated translation and confirm if the problem was fixed.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I have just made the Spanish version of my website public, but there is a bug in the translation of cookie law. It works fine in Danish (main language) and English. See screen shot. URL: hidden link

Symptoms:
The Spanish version has a code/txt which should not be there.

Questions:
Can you help how to fix the translation issue in the Spanish version of the cookie law?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.

I would need temporary access to your website to investigate this issue and understand it better.

Please fully back up your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
* Note: I might need to enable/disable plugins, switch themes, and access your website database.

I would need to access your site's WP-admin.
Your next reply is set to private for you to provide the username and password details.

Thanks,
Marsel

Hi,

Thank you for the access, I was able to check and it seemed that the shortcode was being translated as well meanwhile it shouldn't (as it is set by WordPress functions).

I've changed it for the Spanish translation and it should be working fine now (please check the attached image).

Let me know if you have further questions or need additional assistance.

Kind regards,
Marsel
