This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has a custom post type called Projects, and the images are not syncing across translations.
Solution:
1. Verify if the images are added through a custom field. If so, ensure the custom field is set to "copy" in the translation settings.
2. If the images are not added through a custom field, navigate to WPML->Settings->Media Translation and run the function that duplicates or translates images to other languages.
3. If the issue persists, check the widget, block, or custom field used for these images. Since they are set through Elementor, without backend access, further specific guidance cannot be provided.
4. Change the translation preference of the custom fields to "copy" using the Expert mode. Then, make a small edit to the content of the project so WPML can detect the changes and retranslate, which will copy those fields in other languages.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML support team,

Are these images being added through a custom field? if so, make sure the custom field is set to "copy" in the translation settings,

If not, in WPML->Settings->Media Translation, you should find options that Duplicate/translates images to other languages, please run that function.\

If that did not help, please let me know what widget, block or custom field are you using for these images, I do see that they are set through elementor but I do not have other info as I don't have backend access to your site,

Best,

Hello,

I would like to ask for temporary access to your test site’s wp-admin and FTP to investigate the issue further.

It is important to note that you should back up your site and database before proceeding, and you can use a plugin like Duplicator for this purpose. Here’s a link to the plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

If you do not see the form below, please do not enter your credentials as they will be publicly exposed:

Hello,

The images are now showing in second languages : hidden link

I had to change the translation preference of your custom fields by using the Expert mode : hidden link

And changed the images field translation preference to "copy" : hidden link

Then finally, I added a small edit to the content of the project so that WPML can detect the new changes, retranslated it and that copied those fields in other languages,

Let me know if you have questions,
