Background of the issue:
I am trying to replicate shortcode/documents between the English and Spanish versions of my website using WPML. The site I need help with is hidden link.
Symptoms:
The documents are not showing up on the Spanish version of the website.
Questions:
Why are the documents not appearing on the Spanish version of the website?
Okay, I'll standby and hopefully we can get a copy of it soon to upload to the test site. Did you try using a plugin such as Download plugins and themes to download a copy of the one you have on your site?
Thanks so much! On the Sandbox site, it shows in both languages with the Documents post type set to "Translatable or Fallback to Default" and the Document Library Page duplicated to both languages. Please see here: hidden link
The short code [doc_library] is used to display the content. Have you tested on your site with that shortcode and see if it works in both languages?
The link to access the staging is no longer working. Can you resend access?
Also, we need to test minimal settings to make sure nothing else could be interfering. Since this is a staging site, can we disable non WPML Plugins except the Document Library plugin and test with a default theme? I have marked the next reply as private so you can share credentails in the private fields.
it looks like none of the shortcodes are working - maybe because you need anew license code? Can you ask the plugin authors for a test code so that we can activate the plugin on this test site?
