This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing an unwanted popup warning when editing translated articles in WordPress using the LILT translation service and the Classic Editor. The popup warns that edits will be lost when the page is sent for translation again.
Solution:
To stop the popup warning, you need to switch your translation settings to manual mode. This can be done by following the steps in the WPML documentation on using different translation editors for different pages, which you can find here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages. Additionally, you can deactivate the automatic translation engines in WPML --> Settings as shown in the instructional video provided by our support team.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit my translated Knowledge Base articles directly in the WordPress editor without getting the warning popup. I use LILT as the translation service within WPML and want to manage translations smoothly.

Symptoms:
I am getting a new popup warning when I try to edit translated articles in WordPress. It tells me that edits made in the standard editor will be lost the next time the page is sent for translation.

Questions:
How can I disable or stop the popup warning when editing translated articles in WordPress?

Hi Paola,

We are currently using the LILT translation service for handling translations on our site. At the moment, we are not using any AI-based translation service.

So, can we temporarily disable the translation service process in the WPML settings?
We've checked the video you shared with us earlier. However, is there any other way we can temporarily disable the AI translation service for all admin users with one setting?

Please guide us with all the steps needed to do this, or if there's a video recording or tutorial available, kindly share that as well.

Thank you!

Hi there!

You can switch off automatic translation from WPML --> Settings deactivating the translation engines as I show you in this video:
