This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that Norwegian Bokmål is not being detected among the app languages, causing English to be set as the default language. This issue might be related to the mapping issue shown in the screenshot.
Solution:
We recommend selecting a translation engine in WPML > Settings > Automatic Translation. Once you've selected an engine, the error message regarding the language detection should be resolved.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hi again. Would you be able to check the mapping issue as mentioned in screenshot? It seems that Norwegian Bokmål is not being detected among the app languages, causing English to be set as the default language.

Could this be related to the mapping issue shown in the screenshot?

Thanks for your patience. I've split the ticket here since it was unrelated to the issue that you've reported on your other ticket.

Please select a translation engine here in WPML > Settings > Automatic Translation. Once you've selected an engine, the error message will go away.
