Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate navigation links for my WooCommerce products using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The WooCommerce product links are not translating correctly. I expected the URL to be hidden link, but instead, I got hidden link.

Questions:
Why are my WooCommerce product links not translating correctly?
How can I fix the translation of navigation links in WPML?

Hello there,

Did you fixed the header links manually, I see it's working properly now.

Hello,

you changed it manually during chatting. The problem is still the same - links on homepage blocks are still linking to wrong url.

Hello there,

Can you duplicate the page or create a new page with similar links and see if the same problem exists?

if yes, I suggest you to try the solution from this ticket after a backup once.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks

Hello,

sorry for late reply, somehow I don't get notification emails.

Duplicating page doesn't help. Same problem.

Solution from other ticket helped. What to do so next update won't overwrite it?

Hi there,

Since the issue isn’t happening on your localhost, but only on the live site, I suggest you disable/enable everything except WPML to see if it helps. Sometimes, it’s just a theme or plugin conflict.

After the update, you’ll need to re-add the codes.

Thanks

I didn't check it on localhost. Is this not a plugin code bug if I need to change each update?

Hello there,

I am sorry, I mean on my localhost. Since it's not replicated I suggested testing the minimal setup by disabling plugins and themes.

Thanks
