Background of the issue:
I created a couple of pages with password protection in Spanish as a native language on my site hidden link. I want to translate the password page request form into Portuguese and English, but I cannot find the place to do it, nor the string to do that. Also, I have no chance to have these pages protected so when I open them in Portuguese or English, the pages open without requesting the pass.

Symptoms:
I didn't find a way to translate the password request native page form to Portuguese or English. As well the pages open automatically without the protection

Questions:
How can I translate the password request form to Portuguese and English using WPML?
How can I keep the page protected in English or Spanish

Hello,

thansk for contacintg us.

It seems we have 2 issues here, I will try to help but if needed will later open another ticket for 2nd issue.

1) For password protection of 2nd page:

- Please go to 'WPML > Settings' and scroll down to the "Posts and pages synchronization"
- Check the following option and save the changes
-- Synchronize passwords for password-protected posts
-- Synchronize private flag

Resave your default language page and re-translate.

2) How are you adding the password request form Via some plugin or?

Thanks,
Drazen

Hello Drazen, man, the thing is that I am adding the password in the field of the Quick Edit in WordPress, not a plugin.

I did what you suggest in settings but nothing works. As well, how can I translate the page that appears with the field for password? See the example: hidden link

Thanks

Hello,

please let's keep the topic of the ticket the same since we limit 1 issue per ticket to keep the conversation clear for other readers.

Does the password work if you disable the previously enabled checkbox and then manually edit the 2nd language page and set the password there?

If you need help with other topic, please open a new ticket / chat or wait for us to finish with this one and then I will start a new ticket for you.

Regards,
Drazen

Thanks Drazen, I fixed that by adding a plugin to protect the content. I will create a new ticket for the content I mentioned before. Thanks
