This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing issues where the old translation still appears even after updating the translation in the WPML editor. Additionally, after restoring a page from the bin, the translated page shows with incorrect text fonts, missing images, and an untranslated URL.
Solution:
We resolved the issue by configuring the Icon Box widget correctly. Here are the steps we followed:
1. We added the necessary configuration in WPML → Settings → Custom XML Configuration:

<gutenberg-blocks>
<gutenberg-block type="getwid/icon" translate="1" label="Getwid Icon Block">
<xpath label="Icon Link URL" type="link">//a/@href</xpath>
</gutenberg-block>
</gutenberg-blocks>

2. We made a minor change to the original page and updated it, then reverted the change.
3. We opened the translation and completed it.
After these steps, the widget content displayed correctly.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

A page on my website was translated using the WP editor since one of the elements on the page was not compatible with WPML plugin. I now refreshed the page and removed the element that was causing the problem and therefore switched back to the WPML translation editor. After translating the page I tried to check if the translated page is appearing properly and was disappointed to see that the old translation is still showing up even through when opening the WPML translation editor, the new text is completely translated. I decided to move the translated page to the bin, that didn't work either as the Hungaria page showed that there is no translation for that page at all. When I restored the translated page that I placed in the bin, finally the translated page appeared with the correct text however the images do not show, the text fonts are a mess and the URL is not being translated.
I went through some trouble shooting with your AI support Maiya, but nothing helped. Can you please assist?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you please try the following steps?
1. Make sure that the WPML Translation Editor is already activated.
2. Apply a small change to the page in the original language and update the page.
3. Check that the translation status changes to the circular icon, indicating that the translation requires an update.
4. Open the translation in the Translation Editor and complete the translation.

If the issue still persists, I’ve enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please follow the instructions in the link below to collect and share the debug details from your site:

Hi,
Thank you for getting back to me. I already followed all these steps up to needing to create a backup and check if any other plugin is clashing with WPML plugin and causing the interference. I didn't try that yet as I am not sure how I need to do that exactly.

The original Hungarian page is: hidden link

Thank you for your feedback.

As a first step, it would be a good idea to check whether any other plugins might be affecting this behavior. Please also make sure to clear both the site and server cache, and verify that these styles are not being added by a third-party plugin.

If the issue still persists, I will need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a staging or test site where the problem can be reproduced. This will allow me to investigate the issue more thoroughly.
When you log in to post your next reply, you will find the required fields below the comment area. The information you provide there is private and will be visible only to you and me.

I want to ask you about the possibility of replicating your site locally. I'll need to install a "Duplicator" temporarily or "All In One Migration" plugin on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. If you prefer to do it independently, you can provide the snapshot and send me the zipped package you downloaded.

Let me know how you feel about this.

I was able to replicate the issue on a local installation using your page structure and have already reported it to our team.

I’ll update you here as soon as I have any news. In the meantime, if this becomes critical, please update the page using the WordPress editor as a temporary workaround.

Thank you. We were able to resolve the issue by adding the correct configuration for the Icon Box widget.

Here’s what I did:
1. Added the required configuration in WPML → Settings → Custom XML Configuration.

  <gutenberg-blocks>
    <gutenberg-block type="getwid/icon" translate="1" label="Getwid Icon Block">
      <xpath label="Icon Link URL" type="link">//a/@href</xpath>
    </gutenberg-block>
  </gutenberg-blocks>

2. Made a small change to the original page and updated it (then reverted the change).
3. Opened the translation and completed it.

After these steps, the widget content was correctly displayed.
