Background of the issue:
After changing the default language of my site, content templates disappeared from the list. I can access some of them from views, but there were a few standalone ones. Here is a screenshot: hidden link

Symptoms:
Content templates are missing after changing the default language.

Questions:
How can I fix the issue of missing content templates after changing the default language?
Is it possible to change the language of the content templates directly in the database?

Hi Malka,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

If you change the site's default language, and the Toolset content template posts have a different original language, they won't display in the table list. You can view the post/page in the frontend and edit the template from the admin bar then change the original language of the template to be available in the table list. Please check the attached screenshot.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

The issue is that I don't have these templates in the admin bar. At least some of them...

Even if I somehow get into the template, there is no language editor. I'm using olf Views plugin (not blocks)

Hi,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
