Hi,

Does WPML support running the "Translate Link Targets" and "Media Translation" scans via WP-CLI, or are there any plans to add this functionality?

I believe WP-CLI is much better suited for long and intensive tasks like these, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Currently, there is no WP-CLI support for running the Translate Link Targets or Media Translation scans, and from what I can see, this is not something that’s planned in our roadmap at the moment.

Also, just to clarify, the Translate Link Targets feature is generally intended for troubleshooting purposes—mainly in cases where internal links weren’t translated properly. It’s not something that should be used on a regular basis as part of a typical workflow.
