Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the built-in footer in the Houzez theme on my site hidden link. I want the footer to display correctly in both Arabic and English.

Symptoms:
The footer that appears across the site is always the last one that was edited, whether it's in Arabic or English. Editing one language version makes it the default across the entire site. This issue persists even when using a plugin like 'Insert Headers and Footers'.

Questions:
How can I ensure the footer displays correctly in both Arabic and English?
Is there a specific setting in WPML or the Houzez theme that I need to adjust to fix this issue?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. If your footer content is managed via Houzez > Theme Options, then:

- Go to WPML > Theme and Plugin Localization.

- Scan the theme

- Scroll down and scan the Houzez theme for strings.

- Then go to WPML > String Translation.

Search for the footer content (e.g., “About Us”, address text, or other static text in your footer).

More info:

If you used the footer builder of Houzez, make sure you take note of the ID of the footer and its translation and make sure you add the ID and the translation of it in the string translation. For more information:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

If the problem persists, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Thanks.
