This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to copy the connection code successfully.
Solution:
We recommend deactivating all non-WPML related plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the issue. Additionally, we have enabled debug information for this support ticket. We ask the client to provide us with this information by following the instructions on our documentation page: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we encourage you to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.

I try to copy a connection code, but it doesn't work! It says that I copied the connection code, but then I didn't copy it. Can I not just see the connection code somewhere and type it over
