Hi there, how do I translate the ACF? Because I created the Chinese version and then it caused duplication on the M14 module or it is because of sync?

Could you teach me how to create another language in the ACF? Please see the images.

Can we schedule a call? Please let me know

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

1) The field groups shouldn't be translated. Please delete the translated field groups, empty the cache, and set the field groups post type to "Not Translatable".

Kindly check our ACF guide. (https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/)

2) It's not related to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. The minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

/* Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Best regards,
Osama

Hi there,

Yes. The Field Groups (acf-field-group) have been setup as not translatable. For those in the Chinese folder, we recreated them. But right now, how do we remove the duplicate module? Is it because of the sync issues?

Another issue is, I've translated the some of the pages under this service folder but right now unable to see but I've save the draft link and I could see those.

Hi,

Please check the following steps:

1- Delete the Chinese field groups
2- Remove them from the trash
3- Set the field group as not translatable
4- Edit the post group to select the translation mode
5- Save the field group
6- Edit the page/post in the default language
7- Make a minor edit and update it
8- Update the translation
9- Check the duplication

Kindly let me know if the above steps helped you fix the issue.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

1) I'm afraid we don't have call support currently, but we have live chat support.

Also, you can share a screen-recorded video while reproducing the issue.
Note: Please upload the video to a file transfer service like Google Drive and share the link with me.

2) If it's okay, you can share the access details for your site, and we can check the issue.

Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama
