This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are experiencing an issue where the language reverts to Danish when navigating from the main page to the WooCommerce shop, even after selecting Spanish on the main page. Solution: We recommend following these steps to resolve the issue: 1. Open the default language home page in Edit mode. 2. Click on the secondary language icon to open the secondary language home page in Advanced Translation Editor. 3. Search for "http" in the search input box. 4. Add the button URL translation as shown in the documentation here: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-links/ Please check and confirm if this resolves the issue.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to select Spanish as the language on the main page, but when I navigate to the WooCommerce shop, it reverts to Danish. This issue can be seen on the page: hidden link
Symptoms:
The language changes back to Danish when I go to the WooCommerce shop, even after selecting Spanish on the main page.
Questions:
Why does the language revert to Danish when navigating to the WooCommerce shop?
How can I maintain the selected language across different pages?
The problem is when you click from the homepage (in spanish) to the woocommerce shop page, it resets to Danish language and you need to press the widget again.
I want it so that once you changed the language it stays that way for your whole session .
Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I tried to follow the below steps:
1. Visited your site homepage: hidden link
2. Switched to Spanish language using WPML language switcher: hidden link
3. Clicked on the “Tienda” menu item and it opened correctly: hidden link
Could you please try clearing your browser cache or testing in another browser to see if that helps?
If the issue still persists, please record a short video using Loom (hidden link) or any similar tool showing the steps you follow, so we can try to replicate the issue from our side.
Thanks for sharing the video, now I can see that the Spanish language shop button link points to the default language shop page. Could you please follow the below steps and see if this resolves the issue:
1. Take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.
2. Go to the WPML >> Settings page and press the “Scan now and adjust links” button(Screenshot attached).
3. Re-save the Permalinks from the Settings >> Permalinks page by pressing the “Save Changes” button.
4. Clear all sorts of site/server/CDN cache and see if this resolves the issue.
Hi Again
I followed the steps you have given, but without any result.
Would it be possible if i gave you a temporary login, that you get in there and give it a look?
Thanks for trying the above steps. To take a closer look at this issue, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.
Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
=== Please backup your database and website ===
✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.
Sorry for the delay, I was off during the weekend (Friday-Saturday). Thanks for providing the login details. I’m debugging this issue on your site and will get back with an update soon.
1. Opened the default language home page in Edit mode.
2. Click on the secondary language icon to open up the secondary language home page in Advanced Translation Editor.
3. Searched for the “http” in the search input box.
4. Added the button URL translation as you can see in the attached screenshot.
Thankyou very much! Now it is working. Very good service !!
