This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with weird URLs for your translated posts, such as URLs containing '__trashed' segments, we can help you address this.
Solution:
First, ensure that your WPML Multilingual CMS is updated to version 4.8.4 and that you have also updated the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Next, clear the trash for posts to remove any residual data that might be causing URL disruptions. It's also crucial to translate the parent category 'Language Learning' into other languages and perform a Hierarchy Synchronization in WPML under Taxonomy Translation for Categories.
To correct the URLs for existing translated posts, edit the original post, switch to the other language using the language switcher at the top, and then update the link accordingly. Before making these changes, please back up your database to prevent data loss.
Additionally, you can manage category translations directly in WPML under Taxonomy Translation.
If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket.
