String Translation not working in event search bar

paulL-10	Background of the issue: I am trying to translate strings in the event search bar on my site hidden link. I have translated the strings, but they don't show in the translation. I have re-scanned the plugins in 'Theme and plugins localization' and resaved the strings in 'string translation'. Symptoms: The translated strings in the event search bar do not appear unless I tick the box in the Auto register string translation. Questions: Why don't the translated strings appear in the search bar without ticking the Auto register string translation box? Is there a specific step I am missing in the string translation process?

paulL-10	Unfortunately, the events plugin is a pro plugin and I can't run it on another domain without a licence.
