strings of supposedly compatible elementor plugin not showing in ATE

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to get strings from the Elementor plugin to show in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), but they are not appearing as expected.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, it might be because you are using a global widget that has not been translated. We recommend translating this global widget to see if that resolves the problem. This will help speed up the support process. If the content is not appearing, then most likely that widget doesn't include any WPML support. Can you please add the specific Elementor extension you are talking about? Check the source code to see if a wpml-config.xml is included. Kindly check this hidden link">page. 2) I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated. Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it. ❌ Please backup your database and website ❌ ✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations.
