[Resolved] strings of supposedly compatible elementor plugin not showing in ATE
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to get strings from the Elementor plugin to show in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), but they are not appearing as expected. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, it might be because you are using a global widget that has not been translated. We recommend translating this global widget to see if that resolves the problem. For more details on how to translate global widgets, you can visit our documentation here: Translating Widgets.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check the related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
If the content is not appearing, then most likely that widget doesn't include any WPML support. Can you please add the specific Elementor extension you are talking about?
1) The default button widget works as expected. Kindly check this hidden link">page.
2) I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
