Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my website from Swedish to English and then to Spanish. I am on a Swedish page, and I click the checkbox next to English to duplicate it, but the page just reloads without any changes. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The page reloads without showing the English language option with a pencil icon. When I go to 'Pages' and select English from the top bar, the Swedish page appears but is not synced with the Swedish translation. I have already increased the memory limit, so that is not the issue.

Questions:
Why does the page reload without showing the English language option?
Why is the Swedish page not synced with the English translation?

To help troubleshoot this issue more efficiently, I would like to use a tool called Duplicator (hidden link) to create a temporary diagnostic copy of the website.

Using this tool, I will generate a lightweight “package” of the site that contains only the database and essential files. All media files (images, videos, etc.) will be excluded to keep the package small and secure.

This package will be used only in a secure local testing environment to reproduce the problem and analyze it in detail. This allows me to test fixes safely without touching or impacting your live website in any way. Your production site will not be modified, slowed down, or affected during this process.

You can find more information about this process here:

Let me know if this is ok!
