[Resolved] WCML Creating cache issues with prices in cart page

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Issue was with WooCommerce Discount 3rd-party plugin for WooCommerce. Client assume that it is relevant to WCML.

Solution: During my investigation, I tested this case with only WooCommerce and WooCommerce Discount plugins enabled, and I was able to reproduce the issue. However, the issue is not persistent and behaves inconsistently. I shared screencast to show an example

Hello.

We have a bulk discount plugin. If a product cost 10 EUR and you buy at least 5, the price will be 8 EUR.

The problem: In the cart I have 4 of this product, price is 10 EUR. If I change the quantity to 5, cart will refresh but price stays the same, unless I perform a full page reload.

When I disable WooCommerce WPML addon, the problem is completely gone.

Could you help me figure out please?

My name is Slava, and I’m a developer from the WPML development team. I’ll be working with you on this ticket.

During my investigation, I tested this case with only WooCommerce and WooCommerce Discount plugins enabled, and I was able to reproduce the issue. However, the issue is not persistent and behaves inconsistently.

I recorded a screencast where the same issue appears when reducing the number of items in the cart. When I change the quantity to 1, the discounted price is still shown. After a full page reload, the discount disappears and the price becomes correct.

At this point, I recommend contacting the WooCommerce Discount plugin support team, as the issue can be reproduced without WPML enabled.
