Background of the issue:
I am trying to add new products to WooCommerce and automatically translate them to another language using WPML on my site hidden link.

Symptoms:
The title of the duplicated product has '(copy)(copy)' at the end, and this also appears in the slug.

Questions:
Why does the translated product title have '(copy)(copy)' at the end?
How can I remove '(copy)(copy)' from the product title and slug when translating?

Can you please check if this issue appears when:

- only WPML plugins are activated (all its addons such as String Translation) and WooCommerce, as it will tell us if there is an interaction issue with other plugin
- theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Twenty as it will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme
