Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate products using WPML, but I encountered an issue.

Symptoms:
Instead of the pencil symbol at the end of the translation, I only got the wheel symbol.

Questions:
Why is the translation process not completing?

Hi there, and thank you for reaching out.

Can you please send a screenshot of this area: WPML > Support > Advanced Translation Editor > Error Log?

Or copy all of the errors you see there (if there are any) and share them with us through a site like pastebin.com. Then, share the link here with us (only you and us will see the URL you are sharing).

Thank you!

Hi
I don't know why but Instead of a pen a still see a toothed wheel and it takes hours to disappear, it's like if the WPML was off line for few hours

Hi there.

Thank you for the update.

That's pretty strange. Is it happening constantly with only one language?

There's also a chance, if there are many plugins or custom blocks containing all kinds of information on the pages, to be one of the reasons that WPML slows down.

You also have a very new PHP version, which might contradict the current performance.

These latest PHP versions are so new that neither WPML nor WordPress have full support for them.

I would personally try to test this on a local or staging environment, where I can disable plugins or change things (like the PHP versions) without thinking that I'm affecting the live site.
