This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where images in ACF image fields are not appearing in the translated categories of their WordPress site, despite working in the original language.
Solution:
1. Navigate to Posts → Categories in the WordPress dashboard.
2. Change the language in the top admin bar to the target translation language.
3. Select the translated category and click Edit.
4. In the ACF fields section, if the image field is empty, add or reselect the same image as in the original category.
5. Click Update on the category.
Repeat these steps for each category with missing images in translations. After updating, verify by checking the translated category page on the front end to ensure the image appears. If using Elementor templates, ensure the template is set to display the ACF field for the current language.

If the solution provided here does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my post category ACF fields from French to English using WPML. The text translation works, but the pictures do not appear in the translated category. You can see the issue on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The pictures are not showing in the translated category. Instead of seeing the images, I got 'No image found'.

Questions:
Why are the pictures not showing in the translated category?
How can I ensure that images appear correctly in translated categories?

Thanks for your reply. Please backup and update all WPML plugins in WP > Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab.

I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Hi Kor,

Thanks for your answer. And once again, I apologize for the late response, but it seems I am not receiving notification emails from our threat.

It seems all good on the staging. Could you please confirm that you just did:
- When to the element page
- Switch to French
- Saved
- Clear cache

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's correct. That's what I did. Could you test it on another category?

I tried that on the live site, it doesn't work.

What wasn't recorded at the end was me checking on an incognito browser.

Thanks for your reply. Could you please share access to the production site so I can check it directly? If you agree, please create a full backup first and then share your credentials with me here using the private reply option.

Thanks for your reply. I edited this Element hidden link , turned the dynamic option off and on as shown in the attached screenshot and the issue is fixed. Looks like some sort of glitch here. You can activate the cache plugins when everything looks fine for you.
