Hello,
it's Italian and English.
Pretty standard. So there's a problem with WMPL.
Waiting for your help. I can't start to automatic translation otherwise.

Thanks for your reply.

May I know what's your default language and which "Translation Engine" are you using? If you're using WPML AI, you can only translate it from English to German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian as explained here https://wpml.org/announcements/2024/08/introducing-wpml-ai-superior-translation-engine-for-wordpress/

WPML AI
Italian is default
From Italian to English.

It's something wrong with the plugin....
The languages are mapped correctly but the plugin somehow don't "accept" it

PS. Also Microsoft not working

Thanks for your reply.

As mentioned earlier, WPML AI only supports translations from English to Italian and not from Italian to English.

Since Microsoft Engine is not working, I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

As shown in the attached screenshot, I've enabled other translation engines for you. To clarify, currently, WPML AI only supports translations from English to German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian.

I suspect you're not using WPML AI on your other website to translate from Italian to English.

Thanks for the reply

If there are multiple selected auto translations which is the criteria WPML choose the right one?

Also, If I have similar content in different posts, the system calculate each word or already the translated one in other post are not counted?

Also please eliminate your last screenshot because there's sensitive data (or crop it)

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

You can refer to this section of the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-change-automatic-translation-engines/ that explains about this.

As for the screenshot, I've removed it.
