Background of the issue:
I need to configure the link attribute of DiviFlash Image Carousel Items. To achieve this, I added the following snippet to my custom XML configuration:

difl_imagecarouselitem

link_option_url

This works, I offered the link attributes for translation. I had to switch to ATE V2 because of this issue: https://wpml.org/errata/advanced-translation-editor-ate-removes-ampersand-from-urls/

Symptoms:
If the translation has a "&" character in it (which it has), the & is replaced with & But then the link does not work anymore.

e. g.:
hidden link

Questions:
How can I prevent the & character from being replaced with & in translated URLs?
Is there a way to configure WPML to handle & characters correctly in translated URLs?

Hi,

We made some adjustments to solve the ampersand translation issue.

Could you please switch to the new version of the WPML Advanced Translation Editor (ATE v3), edit the original content, save it and then open the translation?

Please try to complete the translation to 100% and let us know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
