Background of the issue:
I am trying to connect my sites to share translation memory and glossary because my shops contain a lot of the same texts. I followed this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-subscription-for-multiple-sites/

Symptoms:
The copy code button has a hard time working. After I manage to get it to work, I try to input and activate the code on the other site and get an error: 'Migrate website service error, Migration code was not found'.

Questions:
How can I successfully connect my sites to share translation memory and glossary?
Why am I receiving the 'Migrate website service error, Migration code was not found' error when activating the code on the other site? How many sites can I connect together?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will try to answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

Would you please follow the steps below on the original website and after that repeat the process?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Repeat the process to get connect the websites.

Also, I wonder if there is a problem regarding the connection of your website with wpml.org. You can test that by going to WPML > Support > Installer Support.

See if there is an error there regarding the connection of your website.

Thanks.

Thank you for your guidance. I followed your instructions by deactivating all plugins, switching the theme to Twenty Twenty-Five, and disabling Cloudflare. While these steps didn’t initially resolve the issue, I decided to try accessing the site through a different browser (Chrome)—I had been using Safari—and it worked perfectly.

The issue is now resolved.

Thank you for your assistance!
