This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate global error messages on your site using WPML, but despite translating other elements, the global error messages remain untranslated.
Solution:
We resolved this issue by adding custom XML in

WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration

and registering the global error message. To adjust the translation, you can find it under

WPML > String Translation

.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the global error messages on our site using WPML. We have successfully translated the forms, but the global error messages remain untranslated. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The global error messages are still in Italian, despite expecting them to be translated.

Questions:
Why are the global error messages not translating with WPML?
How can I ensure that all error messages are translated?

Hello there,

Global texts are not supposed to be translated with the form itself, but via WPML > String Translation. It's better explained here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

Please go to WPML > Theme and Plugins localization and scan Fluent Forms. After that go to WPML > String Translation, find and translate the error message.

P.S: If the source language is incorrect, you can change by clicking on the button under the list.

Thanks for sharing.

I would like to look at this directly on your site. For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site, preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.

I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Thank you for sharing. I've analyzed, and it seems there's an issue specifically when the form is inserted with Elementor. I still need to make further tests, I'll let you know. Thank you for your patience.

I've escalated your website to our devs, which will look for a solution. That usually takes a few days and will happen over the weekend. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them. Thank you for your patience.

Hello there,

We were able to fix the issue on your website. We added some custom XML on WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration and registered the global error message.

If you want to adjust the translation of it, you can find it on WPML > String Translation. Thank you for your patience.
