We are having issue with admin side, editors and translators reported huge loading time, connection lost, while editing articles. Hosting narrowed it down to wpml.
I've converted the chat into a ticket due to inactivity. Could you please check if the issue persists in a minimal environment by following these steps?
1- Deactivate all the plugins except WPML CMS, String Translation, and Media Translation.
2- Switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
3- Check the dashboard and try to edit some posts/pages.
If the issue is gone, activate them one by one to see which one is causing an interaction issue.
